Overview
Share Printer is designed with privacy at its core. The desktop application runs entirely on your local machine and local network. We do not collect, store, or transmit your printed files or documents.
What We Collect
We collect minimal information only when you interact with our website or purchase a license:
- Email address — provided when purchasing a Pro license, used to deliver your license key and for order-related communication.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
- Machine ID — a hashed hardware identifier sent during license activation to enforce the 3-machine limit. No personal data is included.
- Website analytics — we use Google Tag Manager to understand website traffic. No analytics are collected by the desktop application.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your printed files or documents
- Printer names or configurations
- Network information or IP addresses from the desktop app
- Any usage data from the desktop application
Data Storage
License and order data is stored securely on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We retain your email and license key for the lifetime of the license to provide support and allow re-activation.

- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
- Brevo — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — website hosting and data storage
- Google Tag Manager — website analytics
